Coaxial circuit

A coaxial breathing circuit with the inspiratory limb running inside the expiratory limb, presenting as a single tube. This configuration significantly reduces the circuit footprint at the bedside. Heat exchange between the two gas flows helps maintain inspired gas temperature — commonly used in space-limited operating environments.

This combination does not exist.

Function and Use

  • Coaxial design : inspiratory limb housed inside the expiratory tube for a single-tube profile
  • Space-saving layout : reduces circuit footprint at the surgical table side
  • Passive heat exchange : inner and outer gas flows interact to help maintain inspired gas temperature
  • ISO 5356-compliant connectors : direct fit with major anesthesia workstations
  • Single-use design : supports infection control protocols in the operating room
